NEAR Protocol (NEAR) is one of the cryptocurrencies that has passed Nick’s test, earning it a spot in his own portfolio. But NEAR isn’t available on Coinbase or MetaMask – to buy it, you’ll want to use Binance.US.

We’ll show you how to buy NEAR (or any cryptocurrency for that matter) on Binance.US in this step-by-step guide.

How to Buy NEAR Protocol (NEAR) on Binance.US

Step One

Visit Binance.USand log in to your account. If you don’t have an account, then follow the steps to register for one here.

Once you’re logged in to your account, click “Buy Crypto” in the top-right corner.

Step Two

You will be directed to a new page where you’ll see the window below. The “Buy” option will be highlighted already and autofilled with Bitcoin (BTC) as the default purchase.

Click where it says “BTC Bitcoin” and type in NEAR, then click on NEAR Protocol to select which crypto you’d like to purchase.

 
Step Three

After selecting NEAR, enter the dollar amount of NEAR that you want to buy. If you receive a notice with “Insufficient USD Balance” like the image below, you must add funds to your Binance.US account. Learn how to do that here.

If you already have money in your Binance.US account, enter the amount of NEAR that you want to buy and click “Preview Purchase.” If everything looks correct, click “Confirm Purchase” to fulfill your order.
